## what happened

again did not have the always-on recording — was gonna use Granola but didn't. didn't even have voice memo for a lot of it. met interesting people, had great conversations, forgot half of what was said by the next day.

## why it's a gotcha

your memory is worse than you think, especially at events where you're meeting 10-20 people in a few hours. names, ideas, advice, introductions — it all blurs together. without a record, the event's value decays within days.

## the fix
