# Weekly themes

[[about|muShanghai]] is structured as four week-long thematic blocks, each anchored by a flagship event and surrounded by hackerhouses, tours, and meetups. The 2026 sequence:

## Week 1 — AI

Featured organizations include **Alibaba (Qwen)**, **TikTok (SeeDance 2.0)**, **Kimi**, and **Z.Ai**. The anchor event is the **OpenClaw competition** — a builder-facing showcase whose format I'll document here once observed.

## Week 2 — Biotech & Longevity

Featured: **XtalPi**, **MindRank AI**, **DrugFarm**, **Baichuan AI**, **Fudan University**, plus others not yet named publicly. Anchor: the **Longevity Market** showcase.

## Week 3 — Robotics & Hardware

Featured: **AGIBot**, **Unitree**, **BYD**, **Xiaomi**. Anchor: the **Underground Robot Fight Club** — billed exactly as you'd hope.

## Week 4 — Culture

14+ cultural / creative organizations participate. Anchor: a **closing festival**, described as "a music festival or Burning Man-style closing event." Format presumably finalizes closer to the date.

- Per-theme pages may be split out later if any one week generates enough notes to warrant its own page.
