muShanghai is gated. The flow:

1. Apply via the form at https://mushanghai.xyz/.
2. Wait ~1 week for The Mu's team review.
3. Purchase ticket upon acceptance — 149** standard, **119 early bird.
4. Join the Co-Creator group chat (Telegram) to start planning.

Co-creation

Participants aren't passive attendees. You can submit your own events via Luma with The Mu as co-host; accepted events go on the official calendar and get promoted. In practice this means the program is partly defined by who shows up and what they bring.

Costs to budget beyond the ticket

The $149 covers entry / programming. Not covered: flights, lodging, visa, food, and within-Shanghai transport for the month. Hackerhouses are an option mentioned in the program — they likely affect lodging math significantly. To be confirmed once on the ground.
